Mission to Missionaries is dedicated to helping missionaries so they may be encouraged and enabled to reach the world for Christ.

EdenRidge is a missionary retreat center being built in East Tennessee.

Vision100 will take about three years to build. Once completed, the retreat center will have the facilities to welcome 100 missionary families a year.

Mission Possible is a capital campaign intended to raise the funds needed to build EdenRidge.

Epanoui Productions is the production arm of MTM. The ministry produces music CDs, a Missionary Minute church bulletin insert, and websites for churches and other ministries.

1998
Epanoui Ministries is incorporated in Tennessee and an application is filed with the Internal Revenue Service for tax-exempt status. Oliver Dossmann, Chris Blair, and Ashley Fitch Blair are the founding Board members. The ministry’s budget for the year is $500 and a first brochure is printed.

1999
Epanoui Ministries is granted tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service.

Epanoui Ministries embarks on a CD recording and production ministry. $3,500 is needed to start this ministry and exactly $3,500 is received to meet that need. Daniel Dossmann records Celestial Vision: Ocean at HCJB Global in Ecuador and the CD is released in the United States at a premier party at Davis-Kidd Booksellers in Jackson, Tennessee.

2000
The Advisory Council is established with 12 members. Members are encouraged to pray for the ministry and to help share the vision.

2001
Planning on a growing music ministry, a multi-track digital recording system is purchased. Celestial Vision: Noel is recorded and released.

2002
The ministry changes its name to Mission to Missionaries (MTM) and names its music label Epanoui Music. Celestial Vision: Seasons is recorded and released.

The missionary retreat center project is officially launched and the Foundation Partner program becomes the ministry’s first capital campaign. The campaign’s first goal is to raise $150,000 for land.

Mission to Missionaries’ first annual banquet is held in Jackson, Tennessee.

2003
The Foundation Partner program reaches the first milestone with $50,000 raised.

A website ministry is launched as a means to introduce the ministry to churches and to help raise funds for the retreat center project. Fellowship Bible Church becomes MTM’s first client.

2004
The Foundation Partner program reaches $100,000 raised and the Board of Directors authorizes the official start of a land search effort. Land exploration trips take place in East Tennessee and North Georgia.

A trip to the Crossville/Fairfield Glade area yields substantial interest. Oliver and Rachel Dossmann explore various properties for sale and are introduced to a particular property with a great deal of potential. The Board of Directors visits the property and makes the decision to purchase it.

2005
Mission to Missionaries’ newly purchased property is fully explored and introduced to constituents.

Epanoui Music releases firstfruit with Daniel Dossmann and Perspective with pianist Eric Barron.

2006
A 600-foot road segment is improved to provide initial access to the property and a parking area. The area is named Foundation Partner Drive in honor of the donors who faithfully gave during the Foundation Partner campaign.

2007
A team of civil engineers is hired to determine the best approach to develop the property’s roads and infrastructure needs.

The Advisory Council is changed to MTM Responders. A Crossville team is established and a first pastor’s luncheon is held.

2007 Spring work weekend

2008
An infrastructure construction project is awarded to a local contractor. The work includes 2000 feet of roadway and a 1700-foot utilities corridor.

Work begins on designing the first three structures to be built on the property: a guest cabin, a maintenance building, and a picnic pavilion.

The retreat center is named EdenRidge and the name is announced at the ministries’ 10-year anniversary banquet in Jackson, Tennessee.

The first two stuctures are built: a picnic pavillion and the Utility Buildling.

A team of 40 volunteers from Grace Presbyterian in Blairsville, GA builds the majority of the Utility Building.
