It was exactly one year ago today that we welcomed our first missionary guests to EdenRidge. Since then we have welcomed over 150 people and added a second cabin, setting the stage for an exciting future.
Earlier this year we announced the Mission 360 capital campaign which aims to raise $360,000 over three years to complete Phase 1. Today, on this special anniversary, we are marking another milestone by announcing the establishment of an Endowment Fund which will cover the cost of missionaries' stay at EdenRidge.
Effective July 1st, our non-missionary rate for a night at EdenRidge will be $75 + taxes = $87.94. Our discounted rate for missionaries will be $40 per night + taxes = $46.90. The Endowment Fund will cover this cost for missionaries for up to two weeks a calendar year. Donations given by missionaries immediately prior to or during their stay will be considered as payment for their stay and appropriate taxes will be paid out.
This means that there are now two distinct ways you can donate to Mission to Missionaries.
